ACFW Conference

American Christian Fiction Writers, the parent organization of Minnesota NICE, hosts a fabulous annual conference with classes on a variety of levels from beginner to multi-published author, chances to meet with agents and editors, and wonderful fellowship with others who want their writing to glorify God in every way.

Contests

The Genesis Contest is the ACFW contest for unpublished Christian fiction writers. The 2019 contest opens January 2. Winners will be announced at the September conference gala. For more information see the contest webpage.
The Carol Awards are ACFW's recognition for the best Christian fiction published by traditional publishing houses or qualified independently published in the previous calendar year. Entries for the 2019 contest must be in by March 1. Winners will be announced at the September conference gala. For more information see the contest webpage.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS gives unpublished writers the opportunity to have the first five pages of their Christian fiction manuscript evaluated by an industry professional.
